How to Export from Lofty

    Go to People

    Log in to Lofty at crm.lofty.com and navigate to the People section.

    Click the three-dot menu (...)

    Click the three dots (...) next to the "Add Lead" button at the top of the page.

    Select "Lead Export"

    Choose "Lead Export" from the dropdown menu. Click the "Export" button in the bottom right.

    Download from email

    Lofty sends the export via email. Open the email and click the download link — the CSV is not attached, you must click the hyperlink in the email body.

    Import into Base

    In Base, go to Contacts and click Import > Import Contacts. Upload the CSV file you just downloaded.

Column names may vary slightly depending on your Lofty version. Any unrecognized columns can be mapped manually during import.

Tips for Lofty Users

  • Lofty was formerly called Chime — older CSV exports may still say Chime in the headers.
  • The export CSV is delivered via email link, not as an attachment. Click the hyperlink in the email body to download.
  • Export requires the "Export Leads" permission. If you don't see the option, ask your Lofty admin to enable it in Permission Profiles.
  • Custom fields (up to 50) are included in the CSV but won't auto-map. Add them as custom fields in Base after import.
  • Transaction data requires a separate export with the "Export Transactions" permission enabled.
