How to Export from Follow Up Boss

    Go to the People page

    Open Follow Up Boss and navigate to the People page.

    Select your contacts

    Use the checkboxes to select the contacts you want to export, or click "Select All" to export everything.

    Click Export and check "Export All Columns"

    Click the Export button. Make sure to check "Export All Columns" — otherwise you'll only get the columns currently visible in your view.

    Download the CSV file

    Your browser will download a CSV file with all your contact data.

  5. 5

    Import into Base

    In Base, go to Contacts and click Import > Import Contacts. Upload the CSV file you just downloaded.

Column names may vary slightly depending on your Follow Up Boss version. Any unrecognized columns can be mapped manually during import.

Tips for Follow Up Boss Users

  • Check "Export All Columns" or you'll only get the columns visible in your current view.
  • Email 2 through Email 6 and Phone 2 through Phone 6 are skipped — Base stores one primary of each.
  • The "Background" field contains your notes. It auto-maps to Notes in Base.
  • The Assigned To column is skipped. Reassign contacts to team members after import.
